MendelBoP sent in two new maps which you can find over in the map archive bringing the total to 24. Those of you without net connections on the computers you play Emperor on will be happy to know that the 1.09 patch will be showing up on Westwood's FTP server soon. There are still two map packs left to be released, I think there will be one this Friday.

Stealth is working on a cool little program for handling map files that he might have ready by tonight. Look for more details on that soon. Don't expect to see a lot of "news" about Emperor anymore, things are slowing down now. It will for the most part be reports on new maps, and other things from within the community. I guess you could compare it to what happened after the 1.06 patch for Dune 2000 was released, if you can remember back that far.

Of course we will be covering FH's Dune and Generations, the two games from Cyro, those should be out late this year and early next year so the mainpage won't be empty. :)
