Phil's not the only one posting at the Dune Generations forums today, Jerome Segards been bury as well. Lets see what they've been posting:

A duel is just between two leaders of a family or between a leader and a war master.

Now is you want to try to liminate a whole family, there is the assassination. You send a assassin in mission to kill a member of a family.

If all the members of this family will be murdred, it will be destroyed...

Is it possible to have secret/hidden bases on various planets without having anyone find out about them unless they did a very thorough search?

yes

you can not conquer millions of planets but there is millions of planets to fight on

Planets are restrited by levels, and not alway to conquer ; it depends WHO is on the planet you re looking at...

there is no terraforming in the game
