Thats right, it's your favourite news post, here once more! We've got news about polls, DunesDay, E:BFD music, a new Dune RPG, and the return of a farourite topic.

As you can see, there is a new poll up asking you what your favourite Dune book is, or if you have even read any. Expect Gob to post the results of the last one "What did you think of DunesDay?" soon enough. It is still up in the air whether or not there will be another DunesDay, however a few people have offered to take over organizing it from me. If you would be interested in helping organize another DunesDay, say so in the comments section below this post.

Tensen_Vil is working on createing a new Dune RPG, which upon completion will be submitted to Steve Jackson GAMES for consideration. Here is the e-mail he sent me:

Well, my friend and I are working on a DUNE suppliment for GURPS(Generic Universal Role Playing System) (http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/). It will based primarily upon the first three books DUNE, DUNE Messiah, & Children of DUNE. It will be written and set up hopefully just like an actual GURPS supplement.

We hope, eventually, once it's finished, to be able to submit it to Steve Jackson GAMES for consideration.

We're looking for people willing to help illustrate and do research/write for the suppliment(Preferably people at least somewhat familiar with GURPS when it comes to the writing)

p.s. You might wanna mention that anyone wishing to learn about the GURPS rules can download a free verion of GURPS lite (A condenced version of the rules) at http://www.sjgames.com/gurps/lite/

The website for this game can be found here. They are currently looking for anyone interested in helping them with research, illistrations, and/or writing. Be warned: due to the fact that in order to sell dune games you need a licence, and the fact that they arn't cheap, I doubt that it will ever get published. However, you could release it as a free game without a licence.

Stormwatch is currently writing out the Guitar pieces from E:BFD's Harkonnen music, and the keyboard from Ordos music. For more information, click here.

Remember back in the day when there was that "Top 1000 ways to tell you're to into Dune" forum topic? You know, the one that got completed seven times over due to the server deleting it because of its extreme size? Well, its back and nearing completion once more! If you are looking for a laugh, or have some ideas of your own, click here to view and post in this, one of the oldest and most active topics ever at FED2K. After it hits 1000 this time, it will be locked and possibly put on its own page (depending on how Gob feels) and another thread will be started called "The top 2000 ways to tell you're to into Dune".
