Not to be outdone here is the real Bunch O' Stuff, because as Davo says, "its not the same when Mahdi does a bunch o' stuff." :P

GameSpot posted a "Behind Closed Doors At Westwood" video interview the other day that is worth checking out. It contains interviews with Louis Castle, Brett Sperry, Joe Kucan, Dwight Okahara, Frank Klepacki, Eric Wang, and Dan Cermak. There is some mention of Dune in the first interview with Louis but nothing much. There is an older interview on page two though that you may find more interesting if you never saw it the first time.

The Renegade based Dune mod, Battle of Arrakis, that we mentioned a couple weeks ago has had a few updates since then. They are now at a new url and have updated with a few new images. It looks like it will replace the two C&C sides with the Harkonnen and Atreides but there isn't much info on the mod just yet. As usual let them know if you can help.

epidemic has opened a new Generations community site at MSN. Head over and join up if you are interested in the game. There is also a #Dune_Generations chat channel on the irc.quakenet.org servers if you are so inclined.

For those of you wondering what is going on with the beta no one really knows. Cryo has been silent on the matter so hopefully they are hard at work getting it ready and will give us an update sometime soon.

EdricO has sent in a program that will easily switch your Emperor files between playing the Kwisatz Haderach mod and the regular game. You can find details on that and some news on editing the AI of Emperor over at the Dune Editing site. If you have input on the mod check out this thread is where you should look.

You may have noticed in the forums that Stefan is back from his stint programming RealBot for Counter-Strike and is once again working away on RTS stuff. From what I heard things are going pretty well so far. We'll keep you updated on what he is up to, Arrakis 3 perhaps? :)

ExAtreides let me know that I-CON 21 will be interviewing Brian Herbert via a live teleconference coming up in April. The convention goes from the 19th to 21st and is in Stony Brook NY.

And last up poll results! Although they are probably a little skewed since I let it run so long after Dunesday that some people probably missed out completely. If you missed it the first time check out the early February news archives for the details. Be sure to vote in the latest poll, currently Dune is leading with almost 50% of the vote.

What did you think of DunesDay?

[img width=12 height=10]http://www.dune2k.com/image.php?image=/poll.gif 6% - (25 Votes) - Didn't pay attention to it.

[img width=9 height=10]http://www.dune2k.com/image.php?image=/poll.gif 4.6% - (19 Votes) - I was disappointed.

Oh and there will be a new backend for downloads coming in soon so if you have problems downloading things the next little while that may be why.
