Frederic, from Generations, is back to posting now that the company move is over. Here's some new messages from him:

It's not sure how far we'll go on this way. Bribing the tax collector is something we thought about. It (and other bribe ) could be added later or not...but for now it's not made.

About money, you get most of it by trading or by fullfilling missions for the major factions.

First you have to fullfill conditions, like a minimal level of prestige and minimal reputation with some factions.

Second you have duties/Missions to perform. Each time you do one you get a score. You can see the sum of all missions score for everybody. The best score get Arrakis.

Doing a mission twice doesn't give you 2*score points, just allowing you to redo a mission where you did a bad score and replace it by the new score. If your second attempt is worse, it's replaced also, making you going down in the arrakis ranking.

The list of duties/missions is to be discovered and will not be spoiled

The ranking list of Arrakis is public. It means renting a couple of mercs to destroy the house just above you ( or below) is as well as usefull than trying to do the best score in each mission.

Each time Arrakis has been awarded, all scores are reseted and the run restart for one month ( 50 years in game ) to know who will be the next governor.
