Are these projects abandoned? Legacy has about 1000 downloads per month. So it is popular, peoples play it? Or is this an error and a wrap (download count screwed up, wtong statistics)? Because no one writes bug reports, etc.

But both projects are bad - it is impossible to play them. Since there is not a single campaign written for this project. Standard campaigns are not balanced.

It is strange that people wrote the engine, but did not make a full-fledged campaign for it.

I would like to try to refine and improve one of the projects. How can you contact the developers of these projects?

Note that Dune Legacy is a clone, and Dune Dynasty is a game enhancement built on the the original engine, as reverse-engineered by the OpenDune project, making the two projects quite different in scope...

I'm not sure why you say Dynasty is impossible to play - it works quite well once you set it up, and besides some bug fixes, it acts 100% like the original game did. I wrote complete install instructions for it here.

As for contact, well, Dune Legacy literally has a "Contact" page on its website. No idea about Dynasty, though, I indeed haven't seen him around for a while.
