I recently downloaded Dune Dynasty, and placed the game files in the data folder as expected. The game works fine, it's just that there's no unit voices. In the version that was on Archive.org there were unit voices, and I just want to know if something is borked or Dune Dynasty doesn't support the unit voices.

Might be you're putting the wrong version of Dune II into it. Dune Dynasty requires the EU version of the game. Which, ironically, is not the one saying "the building of a dynasty". I had a similar sound issue when I got confused about that.
