Gwizz Posted July 12, 2014 Share Posted July 12, 2014 It seems a number of cars on a train in Southern Mexcio turned over. No one was hurt; but a newspaper picture did show someone being carried away from the wreak. The track was poorly maintained and speed must have been very slow. The passengers were many kids heading for Texas. They didn't have tickets as the train was a frieght train with the kids riding on top or betwen the cars. The train crew seemed to want to help these kids as the crew would leave the cars with the kids in isolated areas, uncouple and do any switching in the next town and back up to pickiup the kids on the isolated cars and proceed on through the town. A French reporter met with some of the kids. The kids said they were robbed and beaten by locals along the way. But they said it was still safer than in their own country.
