well first of all in my d2k when i wanted to create my 5/6 mission in emperor mod... i faced this problem... yousee when i extracted side 1 misai from prac.misai and loaded it to emperor and emperor lookalike they didnt move at all sat sucking dirt... then i copied the prac.mis file and rewrote it as the mission file it worked but it needed some building to work...

if i give them just an mcv they build constuct concrete sell their base and proceed to their doom...

if i give a refinery with the mcv they again do the above...

but when i gave them a barracks also they started building as if they were playing skrimish...

it took me 3 weeks to find just tht out...

also in map editor by kolfac if i go beyond a map size say 100x100 or so the game crashes saying i placed ateam beyond 130 or somewhere close...

even though i solved it i just posted it so others could see errors which happened or might have happened...

I see what u did wrong: side 1 of prac.misai: i doubt it works, u need to use side 0 which is atreides.

About map crash, i never seen that error but im trying to use my logic: maybe u have a unit spawn even or something which is placed outside the .map's file edges.

when i made a 128x128 map there was something off map tht i didnt place... maybe that did it... but i didnt put it there nor does it goes...
