Maps not downloading?

I've been trying to get the Northland Ontario RT2 map down, but it's junk (600bytes long).  Hawk doesn't seem to have it on his site.  Could you (or someone) post it by any chance?

It was modified today.  I'm not sure what that means. Be careful and scan it if you do download it.  I think I'll scan all the map pages just to be on the safe side.

No, that makes it junk.  It's not a zip file, let alone a zipped map.  I'll re-iterate, if you have a copy can you please post if for me?

Just to confirm, I get the same results, except the file I downloaded is 628 bytes of junk.

The zip file is corrupt.

Same as the other map by Ted Kocyla - Ontario Northeast.

I searched my 2 storage hard drives and I don't have either one, which could mean they've been corrupt for a while since I've downloaded every map on this site that isn't on mine, as well as the maps at ExpressWorld.

The download link is not really junk, it's an error message:

Basically the file isn't there, or isn't where the server code is looking.

BTW, the map did exist, I played it a few years and several machines ago!

I get the typical error message when I try to unzip it.

Hi Hawk,

The zip file is not necessarily corrupt, it's just not there.  Instead it downloads a file containing the PHP errors I posted above.  Have a look in the zip file in a text editor.

I see what you're saying now. I'll have to remember that next time I download a zip file that won't open. I wonder if that's typical for something like this.

I've never viewed a zip that wouldn't open in a text editor before, but I have downloaded a few that wouldn't open.

That's interesting. The download script I use wouldn't even give you a downloadable file if it wasn't where the script thought it was. It would give a similar error message in the browser.
