Hello,

I'm looking for a map of Central Europe or Austro-Hungarian Empire to modifiy it for a campaign I have in my mind. Is there anything like that out there?

Here is a picture of what I'm talking about...

The same tools work with RT2.  The RT3 map builder has limitations which was the reason for the thread.

Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Forgive me for not picking this one up sooner, but didn't Lars Maischak (yes, it's that man again!) do exactly this before?  Or something very similar.  I lost a lot of my saved scenarios so will need to go through the Terminal library and see if my memory is OK, or just playing the usual tricks....

Ah, "Reich Chancellor" - how close is that?

Hey Steve,

Thanks for pointitng that out. I couldn't find it anywhere.

As for the Reich Chancellor, it's pretty similar to what I'm looking for, though I need it more to South-East and detailed.

Cheers,

no, I'm sorry, don't know where to get one...

the official Orient Express Scenario approsimately covers the region - at least this is the map that comes close

When I'm not learning for University or practising with my band, I (still) try to finish my map about the Semmeringbahn in Austria, but the rest of the event-scripting is a helluva work, so it still might take another while until it's complete  :-\

But, that said, it only covers the region around the Semmering, hence not much from the area you described...

For a number of my maps I looked in an old encyclopedia.  These old books often have topo maps that I copy.  It is a bit of work to build a map from scratch, but I enjoyed doing this.  Because of the scale involved with RT2 my cities were often not exactly located on purpose.
