the Missing Map

hey All,

I downloaded the Missing map from Phil Steins. blog....

I dropped it into the Maps Folder......Loaded up the Game...and I now have 2 Different Alaska Maps listed....One actually tells me the Alaska Scenerio Info, the Other is Tanaganore Island......

Problem is...BOTH Maps load up to Tanganore Island.....

How do I fix this?

If the maps had the same name, one may have overridden the other.

I would rename the map files by adding a 2 to one name and a 3 to the other name.  It is a long shot that this will fix the file, but worth a try.  Which ever map is not correct for its name, you will just have to re-download it.  Delete the incorrect map first.

I had that same problem.  Unfortunately, I didn't take written notes on how I fixed it like a good computer geek should, and I can't remember exactly what I did.  I think I just deleted the Alaska map that came with the game.  I may have changed the downloaded map's suffix, but I'm not sure whether or not I actually did.
