help with installing dune 2000 on windows 7 64 bit

I can open the game, but when i try to play campaign, it says i need to put the cd in cause its a spawn install, i have the no cd patch, but it wont run in windows 7 64 bit. How do i solve this?

Vista and Win7 seem to have problems with the 16bit setup of the game. You should run the game with DOSBox

Personally I use VMware with a number of virtual hosts to run older or non-compatible applications. Saves time I don't and a lot of hassle.

you can try free alternatives like VirtualBox or VMware Player to install an old WindowsXP system.
