Me and my friend tried to install Emperor again on our new notebooks. And hell yeahhh, we figured out how to play against each other via internet and hamachi - many thanks to all of you who helped that people, like me and my friend, can still play that great game.now my question:in our case (maybe because we are no pro´s) the game speed is much too fast. after searching about that problem in the internet i found ou that it isn´t possible to change that speed for multiplayer games. is this correct?on the other hand i read that it is possible - but only if both player set their gamespeed at the beginning of the game together on a same level, e.g. 4 or lower....Hope, someone can help me! In fact decrease in speed of construction will not solve the problem as units all the same will run quickly and quickly to shoot, harvesters will quickly collect a spice and so on.P.p.s. However if u know how 2 mod u can fix any problem u just mentioned , if u dont know how 2 mod then try another game like Age of Empires 3. In the description of a patch 1.08 it is written: 3) Improved LAN & Internet gameplay performance. You should notice smoother & faster frame-rates in both LAN & Internet games. (NOTE: The slowest computer/connection in your multiplayer game is still the final determining factor to your overall game speed.) You have the game? If yes, what version?
