Kindjal86 Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 The instructions on how to get online with RA game server is already posted on the top threads on this forum...But anyways ill give ya 10 quick steps to get online on this server...1. Get the game fully installed... with internet components from the game2. Download the latest patch for your game: "http://www.dune2k.com/?page=files-emperor&show=patches" without quotes. Patch version is 1.9 make sure u download for ur own's game language version. Patch the game.3. Download the XWIS server program: "http://xwis.net/downloads/XWISC.exe"4 Make sure u run XWIS with administrative priviledges... In the program window you will see 2 lines of numbers... You will have to change the numbers (IP Addresses) on the top. Replace it all with these: 64.212.211.935. Once your done changin the IP address from the top, just click on the "SET" button. You will see now that the IP address on the bottom will change looking like the one u typed on the top. Close XWIS.6. If you use any firewalls dont forget to allow emperor to connect to the internet. If you followed the steps and you still can, try closing it to see if its ur firewall, you can later change the settings of the firewall allowing emp to connect.7. Your almost there, Change all your graphics on low, If you like just leave the resolutions at the highest and medium texture (if your machine isnt slow) NOTE: doesnt matters how new or how old is ur PC you will notice that high graphic settings in multiplayer will make u lag like hell. Dont forget to set you game speed settings to 8.8. Now in the game select Multiplayer, then click on Internet... the next step is to type in any nick you want and a password.. the server will automatically create it for u.9. You can always check if there are any players online by going to this link: "http://64.212.211.93/emp/"10. You can participate on the ladders by downloading a program created by one of our players by going to this thread: "http://forum.dune2k.com/index.php?topic=22028.0"Your done...
