hello im new and need help badly

ok well i don't know wtf is wrong but Ive never had LAN be an option on my Dune 2000 through out the 10 years Ive owned it and as you can clearly see i have v1.06 and i have tried playing online but when i try and register it says my internet isn't connected and all that crap which is clearly untrue considering that im on here atm.

i have included my dxdiag too so you don't have to ask to see it.

please i want to be able to play LAN bad and yes i have the CD and use it all the time

and I can play the practice and campaign perfectly with no problems its just everything else

You need to enable IPX/SPX, are you on XP?

if you have viewed my dxdiag i am on Vista but i have the compatibility on XP

Then you're going to have some trouble, there's no proper IPX/SPX support for Vista, and while there are ways of installing IPX/SPX on Vista I've never seen a way which D2k then recognises and allows use of LAN.

People seem to have enjoyed some success with Hamachi and Game Server to varying levels, might be possible to adapt that to your needs. Try having a look through this board and using the search.

I have hamachi and have had no luck in connecting to anything with my d2k and still no options pop up in the menu or anything
