quickymart
(Starting a new thread as I didn't realise bumping old threads wasn't a good idea).Hello,New to this board, but not new to Dune 2000 :) I have two computers, one with XP Pro, and one with Vista Home Premium. The XP machine loads (and plays) the game perfectly. However, with the Vista machine, I get this:My laptop is a Compaq Presario V3817AU. Graphics card is a NVIDIA MCP67M. I've tried to get it going under Windows 95/98/XP compatibility modes, I've tried with 256 colours...but nothing seems to work.Anyone able to offer any advice? I'd love to be able to play this on my laptop. Thanks in advance :)
Gruntlord6
hello. ah a compaq presario, thats my old desktop. good times.anyway, you managed to install it? thats farther then I got, I forced my vista to run dune by extracting the nessary install files from the disc. If you cant get it working, try a virtual machine.
