eid Posted December 22, 2008 Share Posted December 22, 2008 Alternatively, just temporarily disable "user account control" from control panel/users..The xwis tool seems to work fine for me.I've never had an issue with the hosts file as of yet.To be honest i've noticed Vista runs older games better than Xp ever didI remember soul reaver having issues with Xp, it works fine on vista.
