when i try and patch i get an error saying could not patch file however a file of same name was found but they do not match. It cant find the old files what do i need to do?

Your best bet is to un-install Emperor, restart your PC and then do a fresh re-install.  Once you've got everything back to normal, check the version of Emperor you're running and make sure you're not trying to patch to a previous version.

If everything checks out, try patching to 1.09 again and see if it works.  If you're still having problems, post again.

i got the game off the internet it has movies that wont work and theres no music and the movies are .bik files how i get them to work is there a perticular directory or sumthing.?
