How to modify memory settings to make Dune2 work?

When I run Dune2 without sound, it works well. But in case I try it with sounds, it complains about the lack of memory. Now I've tried to solve it by creating a short-cut to program and editing its memory settings. This should work, but nope.

I have also tried editing CONFIG.sys and AUROEXEC.bat without much success.

What should I do to make it work?

Use a boot disc and add the autoexec.bat and config.sys files.

Try this:

Autoexec.bat file:

SET BLASTER=A220 I7 D1 H7 P330 T6 <--For sound (sets up your sound card)

c:mouse <--for mouse (point to where your mouse.com is)

C:©dproMSCDEX /D:MSCD001 /V <--for cdrom (point to where your cdrom drivers are)

config.sys:

DEVICE=C:WINDOWSHIMEM.SYS <--allows dos to use high memory

DEVICE=C:WINDOWSEMM386.EXE RAM 16368 (depending on your ram) <--gets dos using high memroy

DOS=HIGH,UMB <--frees more conventional memory

DEVICE=C:CDPROVIDE-CDD.SYS /D:MSCD001 /P:1F0,14 /P:170,15 /P:1E8,12 /P:168,10 <--gets ur CD drive working

These are my configs, and I can free up to 612K which runs Dune2 fine. If you have problems, then e-mail me at aaronvarshney@hotmail.com and put the topic as: dune2 help?
