PS/2 mouse

I've had this problem for some time, so I thought that I'd ask you Knowledgable types if you have any ideas! My mouse is an Artek UM530 PS/2 jobby. Quite often, when I'm in Dune 2, the damned thing stops working. Fortunately, my serial trackball still works so I can save my position and reboot. When I exit Dune2, the mouse still doesn't work and just restarting windows doesn't give me my mouse back, only shutting down will bring it back. I only ever get this problem with Dune2, which is odd. I'm guessing that something's mucking about with my drivers, but that's only a guess. Any ideas?

I have a Logitech PS/2 and no problems.

Maybe Doc Nyar can help you out, in the Tech support forum. But I haven't any problems. But it sounds more like problems with your mouse driver. Have you updated them? Or are there any known disadvantages of your mouse driver?
