PRP (politics....) thread

Well, as much as the dune2k PRP thread has probably been the most intellectually stimulating amd enjoyable grounds of open-ended and undistribed discussion I have ever come across, the thread has been quite dead lately. It seems that on average, there are fewer than a handful replies on the the thread throughout the course of the day, meaning that most posts remain un-visited for weeks if not longer.

If all of the postees are simply taking their time pondering to the utmost degree and the maximum caution in posting in the most ambigous concise manner, then that is of course perfectly understandable.:D

Sadly though, it seems more likely that a problem of a more permanent nature seems to have stilled the waters of that thread (though, I cannot guess as to what said problem may be, though, the usual gradual decay of forums of this nature may be the issue).

Thusly, I seek a thread that rivals the dune2k PRP thread in terms of depth, advancedness (ie: past the usual first stages of discussion on the usual topics we are familiar with), and level of civilized behaviour (ie: lack of pointless flaminginsulting, loaded arguments and other pointless rhetoric methods. Indeed, it understandably took much time for the dune2k PRP to evolve to it's current point where most discussion now proceeds in efficient and purposeful direction) while also receiving regular attention.

Of course I realize that such a request is quite a high order, and that coming across a PRP section quite like this one is unlikely, but I thought I'd place it out there anyway in hopes of providing myself and similar others as entertaining a distraction whilst we wait for the much loved dune2k PRP boards to be reinvigorated.

So, any suggestions?
