But i think i speak for most when i say that something is needed to keep this excellent game alive. Some options are either an expansion pack or New version with new units etc.

Should we put this to westwood?? Are any new developments underway?

I absolutely agree with you! Look at the "Expansion" topic to find out about my idea of an expansion pack. I guess it's too late, since WW is working on dune3k.

Why bother sending it to westwood? you could write it on a post-it® note, stick it on their forehead, and beat it profusly with a 2 by 4 and they still wouldn't give you any reply other than "Thank you, Your comments are appreciated!"
