Apparently Giger did some peliminary work for the movie Dune...but none of this stuff made it into the movie...not sure what the whole story is....but this furniture should would be sweet in the kitchen :)

He was working on Jadorowski's Dune movie, not Lynch's, which is why you see none of his stuff in Lynch's movie.

Yeah once Lynch took over the directing Dune H.R. Giger's ideas were not used. This furniture is cool looking it kinda reminds me of the Alien movie (of course he did art work for that movie), but it still would have suited the Harkonnons.

Lynch did not take over Jadorowsky position as director.  They are two different productions.

I should have made mention that they were two different productions of the Dune novel excuse my mistake. I did not mean to be confusing. By the way who owns this type of stuff one piece of furniture may cost like 2,500 US dollars.
