Guest Westwood Tech Suppor
We are currently looking into the issue which you posted about on Dune2K.com. Namely, the Out of Sync errors. When did this begin happening? What, exactly, happens when you try to connect? What is the game setup (i.e. 2 player, 4 player, etc.) when the game starts, and does anyone drop? If so, who gets dropped? Does it happen all the time? Any other information about these games you would like to add? Please email this information to TechHelp@Westwood.com with (and this is important) "Per Your Request" in the subject field. Thanks.Westwood StudiosCustomer Support
montego
Hey there Westwood guy - Not to bust your balls, but it seems that this problem is very widespread, with too large a variety of machines, configurations, etc. to say it's a problem on the user end - And although modding files is a (small) problem, the real problem comes to this: Sh*tty network code - What you guys need to do IMO is re-write the network code, and release a patch. I don't see this happening though, with Emperor's imminent release.
