[hide]Why do Duncan and Sheena, etc. want to re-scatter and get away from Murbella? And what the hell is the last chapter about, with the Marty and Daniel thing? Who the hell are they? Did they appear in some other part of the series that I've forgotten about?[/hide]

Because Sheena was another piece of the Leto II mosaic. She has in her DNA the rebellious things and the will to be free from everything (or more technically Leto-Speaking, she has the will (and the necessity) to broke every static concept that can lead to possible stagnation (in this case the new formed New BG order), infact as you can read in the end, Murbella says "Let them go, in the end new and interesting schemes will rise"), exactly like Siona (that was the preceeding piece of the mosaic).

Regarding the last two characters, well no one knows about them.
