Dune 2k display issues

Righty ho, i just bought dune 2k the other day but i have the small problem that it either wont display a picture (tries to run at 29kh sync), ive installed the 1.06 patch and ive tried using the command line options in the docs but the best i can get is a split screen.

Im running on a GeForce2 MX400, DX8.1 and a lot of stress!!!!!

What kind of operational system do u have??

Because that might be the key to your problem!

I think the program has a problem with the DirectX...

(But this is only a guess!!!)

With the directX version provided with the game I haven't had any problems. I'm now using 8.1 ( I think ) and still no problems.

( could be Win2000, although that should work without any problems as well )
