The problem is: FEAR lags heavily on my computer when I play on high resolution.

My new computer has:

Windows XP os

200 GB free HD

1024 MB RAM (DDR)

Intel Pentium 4 3,0 Ghz processor

Geforce PCX 5750 graphic card

I have updated my Geforce drivers with the ForceWare found on www.nvidia.com

I also have Direct X 9.0c August edition (or whatever the exact version that came with the game was).

Now, Doom 3, Half-Life 2 and Quake 4 works perfectly well with the highest settings turned on. I don't see FEAR requiring much more than (at least) Quake 4 does, and besides that, FEAR isn't running well even on high or medium settings, so what is the problem?

(Note: The game does run in general, so there is no trouble playing it... on low settings.)
