One simple question I have to ask is to do with reinforcements. What exactly do the numbers associated with each sides reinforcements represent? Time/Power wise that is. Im pretty sure that they represent the number of bordering teritories but for example in the second level for ordos invading the harkonin, I had 2 reinforcements they had 4 does this mean that they get theirs every 4 minutes and i get every 2 or that every set time that reinforcements arrive i get 2 and they get 4?

Also in installing Dune (im not sure if it was dune itself but just a coincidence that it happened at the same time) most of my virtual drives got corrupted, is this something to do with copy protection? And if so is there something I can download to fix this? I can get around it but it requires me to change the settings/reinstall everytime i reset my comp.

I don't know exactly how reinforcements work, but this is what I gathered:

Every x amount of time, the players get reinforcements. These will come in waves, followed by each other with a mere interval of several seconds. The number of waves of reinforcements equals the amount of surrounding territories the player has. This number is given for both parties in the territory selection screen.

Each unit (except for scouts and engineers) for main houses have a reinforcement value, so ATInfantry = 1 point while say ATMino = 7 points and ATSonicTank = 10 (I think, I have changed them for my Conflict mod), and the standard rules says the first wave = 20 so you could get 2 Minos and six infantry...

The following waves are then worth 10 points.

Subhouse units tend to have the rules line : Crategift = True instead so that you can get them during skirmish crates but not through campaign play reinforcements.

I did make a mistake during ICW development and found that the Hark enemy had Tleilaxu reinforcements when I played ATR campaign!

As Timenn said, it is the number of territories you have next to the battle area that can deliver you reinforcements. So if you have 3 territories touching the battle area and the enemy have only 1, then every 4-5 minutes you will get 3 "lots" of units to their 1 "lot". The first "lot" is always bigger (units value of 20) than the following reinforcements (units value of 10).

If you encirle a battle area you can get up to 6 "lots" of reinforcements to their none! Tends to be a quick battle!
