How do you ally for multiplayer lan games?

i have read that you can do it with the sidebar but as yet have found no way to do it.

I think I can help you,

When you play a game on a multiplayer mode, you must see your future ally in your screen,

then you need to point at one of his units and click "A" on one of his units and by doing that you had just offered him to be your ally.

If he wants to be your ally he has to point at one of your units and click "A",

ufter doing that you will see on the top of the screen who you allyed with, you wont

be able to attack him and on the side map you will see what he sees.

The same things will apply to him too.

I discovered that when I play a game in multiplayer (2 computer VS 2 player), the 2 computers tends to attack each other. I would like them to become Allies so the forces would be more balanced. Do you know how to make the computer Allies?
