But aside from that, you completely ignored everything I said.  If this had been a hate crime similar to the one committed against Shepard, then the media certainly would have picked up on it, because there would have been something for people to learn.  Dirkhising's death had nothing to show us that we didn't already know: Homosexuals can commit brutal and terrible crimes too.  Shepard's death told us that homosexuals are the victims of brutal and terrible crimes because of who they are, and renewed the national debate about hate-crime protections, gay rights, and so on.  What could society at large have taken from Dirkhising's murder?  Yes, homosexuals do bad things.  No one denies that.  You're trying to find any excuse you can to make the media into some kind of vast liberal conspiracy.

How about addressing some of my other points, now?  Or do you not have a canned Fox-provided response to them?

And no, Dirkhising's killing was not a hate crime.  But that's a different topic.  Finally, would you perhaps be willing to point to a trial transcript or other official document wherein his killers state that Jesse Dirkhising's killers refer to him as "a young, tight boy"?  Because coming from you, that characterization is more than a little creepy.
