an interesting connundrum

If the two people made from Tube B are the exact same in every way, and assuming there is some connection between the soul and body that links them uniquely, then there would have to be a soul duplication - not from the machine, I did not say that, but from God. Otherwise, why would the second person not get a soul if he is the same as the first? He is one of God's children and should be treated with the same chance to be saved.

but if God gave the new body a new unique soul... that wouldnt be duplication .. but merely a soul creation....which happens everyday as millions of women give birth to babies across the world...millions of new souls created everyday... this teleporter would be no different... it could be considered as some sort of bizarre birth??....

Wouldn't the new soul be the same exact soul as the soul in the old person's body, if the assumption that there is some connection between soul and body is correct? By definition that's a duplicate soul.

while there is some sort of connection between souls and body.... i dont see that as being a problem... i think it could be overridden.

Well, in my opinion, from the moment they step out of Tube B, they become different people because they won't make the same decisions, think the same thoughts, etc. They begin at time t = 0s as the same person, but from then on they are different, with different experiences. Which makes sense to have a different soul in the new person, as you mentioned.
