You know what? Maybe there is no scenario. We are left for own life and observed like laboratory mice, just sometimes the one over us changes experiment, tough it's no change for him anyway.

If God views the universe as a 4 dimensional structure, that means that the dimension "time" isn't any different to him then the 3 dimensions we ourselves perceive.

In other words, to Him, past and future would be similar to left and right, down and under.

Some say that we are like ants to Him, but that would be false. A better comparison would be a landscape with some rocks in it. The universe is the landscape, and we are the rocks.

Does that make any sense?

So, God exists beyond linear time and knows all possible futures (which are infinite), but does not know which future humanity will undertake? This makes sense, for, let us suppose, that mankind reached a level of technological development similar to Asimov's Foundation series in which future social, political, and economic events could be predicted. In a sense, we could predict the history of the future. In this case, would we not be able to predict, say, with advanced computing power, all out possible futures? And be unaware of the ultimate human choice?

Main idea of Foundation was the fact, that Seldon wasn't right: it was impossible to predict future. You've read Second Foundation? There you can see it.
