Has anyone had any luck connecting to the XWIS server and playing dune 2000?

I'm having problems, not with the connection but getting logged in!

I have EBFD and can't get a username through the game. Emperor recognises my usernames from dune2000 but when I try to log in I get "Bad password".

Does all this stem from WOL being down.

The thread emperor essentials provides a link to get a new account, however this does not work

How can I get a password to play dune2000 on XWIS?  For that matter get a password to play EBFD in multiplayer?

Do I just wait and hope WOL gets a jump start or heart transplant?
