Mines still not reporting any help would be appreciated.

It's states recieving done and sending done but know report appears on ladder.

im not very tech capable so can you keep advice simple and step by step.

Olaf suggest using Etheral to track the program but that's a bit complex for me and i'm not sure what i'm supposed to track or how to isolate the program to track just the proxy.

At present i aint runninga firewall only penicillin virus checker.

I've tried reinstalling proxy and emperor but still no reports.

This all started after i installed Norton but since then i've uninstalled it and reformatted my drive any ideas? :-[

Certainly have my friend, visit Symantec.com home of Norton.Contact their tech support, they will tell you how to remove the other Norton registry entries that are still present on your system.

I had this problem too, a long time ago. When Norton uninstalls it leaves certain entries in the registry.

Once you get the removal instructions from Symantec,un-install the xcl proxy exe and re-install it.

You should find it will then report normally. :)
