Well something is reversed for me compared to you guys. It is the emperor which brought my interest back to the world of dune. Before Emperor I seen the movie and and completed playing Dune 2. But after I played Empy I finished three of ( four if butlerian jihad is counted ) the original dune novels written by Honorable Frank Herbert. And I found out the movies could not express the novel and degenerated a lot of things while being made.

Anyway Empy changed the rts world a whole lot and its subhouse concept was really creative.
