I was sure I posted this weeks ago because DuneNovels would never get it up, but when I noticed it wasn't in the I&C Archive I searched and I guess I forgot to... so... after several months, lol, here is the KJA Interview Byron Merritt accomodated:

1) As a young adult, did you read a lot of science fiction and fantasy?

Which genres of literature do you feel most inclined towards?

I grew up on science fiction and fantasy, TV, cartoons, movies, books, comics.

Yeah, he finished up with his slightly after mine. As far as I know, his is the only one that DuneNovels knows about. I'm pretty annoyed with them right now, considering I've sent this in several times, without success.

good interview, but could you maybe ask questions that are a little more unique, something different? a lot of the questions I have heard already. I want to hear something new.

Like questions on interpritation, what parts of Dune they see as unique. What they think of franks other books and their ties with dune. you get what I am saying dont you?

Well, I think the generally accepted view is that Dune is essentially unique in almost all respects ;) Save that the whole concept of a desert has been used before ;)
