Kirov I went to Westwood last summer, I know the people that work there, I talk to Devinoch almost every day. They aren't working on an expansion to Emperor and probably never will.

Westwood is not going to make an expansion pack for a game that has less then 1000 people playing it regularly online. Red Alert 2 has over 50 000 people playing it which is why it got an expansion pack. Face it there just isn't enough interest in Emperor to warrant the cost of producing an expansion pack.

Then if you know them. Tell them to make a Special Patch for Emperor of dune that allows more online player's to play. 10 or 8 player max like every strategy games. Its the source of the problem that not many people play this over the net. Its so Annoying that you can just play with 4 player's you can hardly ally in that way. Or even have a Nice bloodfest with Skirmish against other people. Like i mentiond before they need to make an Anti lag code like every Strategy games. So that the game will be tolerable on the internet.

I can't tell them what to do, they just don't have the money/resources to do that.

Making an Small Patch costs so much money, LOL.  :O

It does if you have to take programmers away from other projects. Then you also have to test the patch taking time away from the QA of other games. And the game is limited to four players for a reason, it lags if it goes any higher so they would probably also need to improve the code which also takes time.

You can always use a program like Kali that spoofs a LAN, that will allow you to have more then 4 players.

You know they will make an addon when more people are playing Emperor when the big computer-buy-rush ;D is busy again? I mean when more people have computers to run the game.

Everybody hardly uses Kali, Its a Program filled with Security Holes and exploits. Maybe some Other Independent Programmer's can make the Patch.

Btw, Something about renegade. It would be really cool if they make a Dune Version of it. Multiplayer Based. You can use the Side's Harkonnen Atreides Ordos.. Even the Subhouses and then a massive Conquer the Base mod will rule in the game.
