No, the band posted themselves on the internet, and they have agreed that those who want can download their music. Besides they don't have a contract with the music industry, which makes their music free.

To be political, this is a great example of how you can make people like your music. You make it, post it on your site. The people like it, they buy the album and spread the word about the band. Then, no one will be unhappy. If only the world was that simple...
