PRP isn't exactly a board I venture onto very often. However, I've always been very interested and fascinated in the Russian past, and theories about Government, life, and order. This is why today I went out and purchased Karl Marx's Capital: Volume 1. Now, my question is; has anyone else here read this book, or even begun it? And if I did a overview featuring some of the concepts of each chapter and left it open for discussion, would you like to participate in open an discussion? (Talking to people other than Edric here.)

Though it may come as a surprise, I've actually read some of Marx's stuff, although most of what I've read pertains to his theories on the cyclic rise and fall of society and not on communism. Although, I still know enough about it for a general discussion.

I've read more from Lenin, but also much from Marx. I will be very glad if we'll take some chapters to discuss them directly. Choose and I'm ready...

Well, I think you all know where I stand. :) I'd love to discuss Capital with you.

Btw, you can read most of Marx's works (as well as the works of dozens of other communist authors - from famous ones like Lenin and Trotsky to people you never heard about) for free on the internet. There is a huge online archive of marxist writings:
