For settings in Emperor: Not all settings are slow-making. It's important that the shadows are on none (you will see only a dark spot then), that's the most important they slow even with me (1500 MHz, 64 mb video) And set the colors to 16 bit. That makes the menu etc. faster...

For settings outside Emperor:

I've seen no difference between ME and XP, but it can be...

It makes (almost) no difference when you have a noCD crack or the real version with CD, because the games never ask so much from the CDRom-player, and only the music/video's are from the CD. Other settings I don't know about, have good luck. I hope this will work...
