I read part of this ency so far. And I think it's great. It explains a lot of stuff and is realy fun to read, good story... though they should've put it in the manuals too.

I now finally understand that red alert is in both the Red alert and the C&C universe, whereas Red Alert 2 (luckily) is only in the red alert universe. Don't get me wrong, i like red alert 2 a lot, but it just doesn't fit in the serious c&c universe

EDIT:

ok, forgot the link, guess i'm the dumbest person on this forum afterall. So here goes: http://www.planetcnc.com/features/encyclopedia/

yeah i have to say i was a bit disappointed in the whole red alert 2, it was a good plot, don't get me wrong, but i loved how all the c&c games up until then had been part of one big story....of course it all gets very very screwed up with every game released, but that's not the point. my friend and i were so sure that kane was going to appear in the red alert 2 games somewhere......"yuri - I AM YOUR FATHER!"

they have to make a sequel to TS, the end of TS and FS were just so good and such cliffhangers.....

luckily for us ra2 is not in :)

and a sequel is in planning, called tiberian twilight. I've even seen concept art for it, although i hope none of that will actally be in the game.

yeah, i think the C&C series is dying tho, Generals just didnt hold my attention at all, ive only played it about 40 times i think, despite having follwed the series from the beginning. altho i am more of an FPS-junkie these days anyway.....
