Atomic Mitten
Looking at your DX diag, Try reducing your resolution to 16 bit instead of 32.Also I see your sound blaster live drivers are a bit old, Creative studios now have drivers for XP.Have you turned shadows off in the game options menu ?I have to turn all the graphics to low, to get the game to run.I've got a geforce4mx440agp 128 MB card. Also how old is your bios ?(chipset bios). There is also a Nvidia Tweak tool available from guru3d.com.With this you can lower the agp speed to X2 or X1.and change a few other settings of your GUI.What exactly happens when you try to run the game ? Atomic Mitten
Just thought of something else you can try, this link takes you to Aida32.hu, choose the second download on the page.Install the program and go through the sub directories, maybe you can post the report when you've done ?The link is http://www.aida32.hu/download

Nyarlathotep
Download older drivers for your video card. (21.83 seems to work for most people with your video card).

Nyarlathotep
Atomic, you stated that you might had found a problem with DirectX 9 and EBFD. If so, you might want to guide J-cop through ;)
Atomic Mitten
lol. I'm still having weird things happen with my agp card. But I'll try !Try re-installing Emp, but with the normal installation, not the fix one.I installed mine without the fix, used windows compatability program to set it to run as if on win98.This worked for me.Maybe Doc can remember how to put graphic acceleration to full in winxp.I can't remember how to do it.lolDid you download the Tweak utility for nvidia from the guru3d.com web site ?If you did you can set the agp rate to 1X to do this you must, put a tick in the little box to the left of the slider where it says 1X, 2X, 4X. Atomic Mitten
P.s. did you say that you have Norton Anti-virus or firewall running on your PC ?If so I had nothing but trouble with it.I now use Mcaffee firewall 4.0. without any probs. Atomic Mitten
What settings did you change with the tweak utility ?Try putting a tick in the box, enable Side Band Addressing and agp to 1X.Ignore the warning, it only applies to win98 and me users.Try this program it's free:http://www.aida32.hu/downloadsWhen you run this program click on motherboard/chipset,can you then copy and paste the result in this thread, or just type it in if you can't do the pasting stuff.By result I mean what it says in relation to AGP,fastwriteand so on.
