After finally curing my cpu heat problems, I now have an annoying problem with my Trackball mouse

Somtimes when I am reading posts on the Forum and scrolling down the page my pc freezes up.

Pressing alt/ctrl/del won't bring up tasl mgr ?

So I have to hit the reset switch.

Has anyone else a trackball and had the same problem ?

I'm using XP Pro by the way. :(

I checked the drivers I have vers 9.7.8 which I believe are the latest drivers for this device.

I have discovered that I have a PC CHIPS motherboard, lol

so apparently it's not surprising that I'm having problems.
