Codec problems?

ok heres the thing: i downloaded a movie in .mov format, its about the xpack for generals but when i open it (with all i have) it just wont work.. i installed DivX and still.. it says error the file is bla bla bla.. any ideas?

This is easy.

Just download quicktime and it'll work perfectly.
