Choppy Renegade movies.

I recently reinstalled Renegade, and I'm noticing that the movies are very choppy. Both sound and audio are like this. other than that, the game seems to work fine. I've patched it to 1.037.

AMD Athlon XP 1800+

SB Live

GeForce 4

Win XP Pro

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not shure if it is just Dune Emperor that can be fixed by it, but you never know, it could work for Renegade. Change the DMA settings of your cdrom drive. It's in the device manager of windows, with the settings of your cdrom drive. If it's urned on, turn it of, and vice versa.

You could check out this topic over at Westwood. It might help.

And if you havn't done it, could you check your grafics drivers and DirectX for any errors.
