Dolby Digital Decoder bug with XP

I had my Dolby Digital (DD) decoder card working fine under W98, however now that I moved to XP I cannot longer get DD output in any DVD or game that previously worked fine with DD.

Initially in W98 I had the "Hardware Cinemaster 98 C-3.0" software that Dell provided to me along with my Dell Dimension, now this software doesn't work on XP. I've tried to get an update or a newer version but so far I failed on that attempt.

When I intend to watch/play any DVD/games I only get Stereo output, the DD led doesn't get on automatically as it used to do when I run the software in W98, besides I can inmediatelly recognize that the sound I am getting is not DD. :-

I have an Altec Lansing ADA 880 Sound System (DD).

Plz advice.

I've installed DVD player and now Dolby Digital works perfectly, but I am getting no video at all, only sound :-, any ideas ?

I tried with DVD player, Windows Media and Real One, all of them only recog the sound and produce a perfect Dolby Digital but no video.
