Okay, I need a new motherboard and processor, I'm looking for something like a AMD 2.4 ghz...(Nyar if you can find a Intel cheaper, or for a better deal I'm open but I picked AMD because they're cheaper) but I need it from a website. I need it from the site because I know I can get a better deal online but I don't know any real techy and trustworthy PC sites. Something sad about your PC not being able to push your graphics card to its max....

(This would mainly be for gaming purposes also, I'm not looking for a 3.0 or 3.2 GHZ PC because the newest games are running on about 800 mhz without issues).

Also, in real idiotic terms please slowly tell me how to reformat my PC.

Thanks in advance.

That gives an Intel 2.4 vs. an AMD 2.4, and gives the motherboard/processor links for each.

Here's the processor:

And the motherboard:

As for reformat, shut down your computer. Start it back up, and when it's starting up press F8 to get to the options to boot up in, and press 1 and enter (should be Command Prompt, if not go to number that is Command Prompt). This'll boot you up into DOS, and then type in "reformat c:" and it will begin. This is what I got...

EDIT: Interestingly enough, the Intel 2.4 is cheaper than the AMD... Hmm?

If you want Intel, look for the Intel 2.4Ghz with 800FSB. As mobo I would choose the Asus P4C800 (DeLuxe). Put Dual DDR400 with CL2 in it and it'll give you everything you'll need. This combo will surely bypass the AMD counter part.

I do not know how that price will compare to AMD, but if AMD is cheap enough to make you decide to go for AMD, make sure the mobo has a nForce 2 chipset. The link will show tests of boards with nForce 2 chipsets.
