I've a dual athlon mp 1800+ system. It's a sound post production home studio. 2X athlon 1800+ 512 Mo 80 Go Matrox G550 Win XP PRO I already played emperor with my father's computer (thunderbird 500, 256mo, G400), and works with some crashing, but i was able to play with. I now i must change my video card. I have all patch, and i try everything, i haven't antivirus. I install several time Emperor. It doesn't work. I try to copy the game on the disk, and it doesn't work. I scan my disks, as it said in an other forum, etc..... I want to precise something important : any westwood game work in my computer. I also tried an hacked emperor, and it does not work. I try tiberium sun, red alert, etc, any westwood game work. But i can play with dungeon siege, never winter night, etc. Thanks to help me. @+ ;) :P :P :P

:O :O Hhi i'm new here, and it's my first post. :P I have a dual amd processors system, and it works greatly I have 2 amp mp processors. I don't know if you can use an XP processor to work with dual thread motherboard. Why do you use an xp processor ? Actually, you can work with one processor, without a "terminator", but you should use an MP processor. forget win Me, 98, 2000 => you must work with NT 4.0, win XP pro. ANd you can calibrate your machine by the bios (it is not easy, but use the notice). Before the calibration, search the voltage of your cpus, ram, the frequency of your rams, etc., to adjust all jumpers on the motherboard. Then, you can configure the bios. My english isn't really, because i'm french. SORRY :P ;) bye
