  1. Here's a link for Dune 2000 Portable (No videos included): http://www.solidfiles.com/d/6838e01440/ (If this link is dead, try the very last one provided) Found this link on: I am well aware of the YouTube link scams, but I assure you that this is not one of them. In fact, it's the complete opposite - it's a very helpful video tutorial that shows you how to play Dune 2000 using virtual LAN programs, such as Tunngle and Hamachi. I am also well aware that these links will eventually die, which is why I'm including this one (which will probably last quite some time due to fans and overall support) to save you time: http://gruntmods.com/Projects/Downloads/Dune_2000/ The link above is for Dune 2000 Gruntmods Edition. It includes the original Dune 2000 game. The Hi-Res Patch, Level Editor, Videos, etc., are optional when installing. If you have problems launching Dune 2000 from the shortcut, use DUNE2000.EXE in the game directory.
  2. Here is an additional option. The install program will work on 64-bit Windows versions. You can download the game from the following link: http://gruntmods.com/Projects/Downloads/Dune_2000/ The link above is for Dune 2000 Gruntmods Edition. It includes the original Dune 2000 game. The Hi-Res Patch, Level Editor, Videos, etc., are optional when installing. If you have problems launching Dune 2000 from the shortcut, use DUNE2000.EXE in the game directory.
  3. There is no separate version for 64-bit operating systems. The reason why you can't install Dune 2000 on a 64-bit operating system is because they don't really support 16-bit programs. The Dune 2000 install program is 16-bit, which is what is preventing you from installing it on your Windows 7 x64 PC. 64-bit operating systems mainly support 32-bit and 64-bit programs, whereas 32-bit operating systems mainly support 16-bit and 32-bit programs. However, there is a fairly simple solution to this. All you've gotta do is the following: 1. On your 32-bit notebook with Dune 2000 installed, press "Windows Button + R" to open "Run", type in "regedit" and press Enter. 3. Locate the "Westwood" folder in "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood". 4. Right-click the folder and choose the "Export" option from the context menu. 5. Name and save the file accordingly. 6. Copy the folder in which you installed Dune 2000, along with the .reg file that you just exported, to your 64-bit PC. 7. On your 64-bit PC, double-click the .reg file and click "Yes" in the Dialog Box. 8. Launch the game.
